Implantable Contact Lenses
Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) are a surgical alternative to LASIK. Because ICL do not require tissue to be removed from the eye, as with LASIK and other laser procedures, Implantable Contact Lenses are the perfect treatment for extreme nearsightedness or farsightedness, in which laser vision correction is not recommended.
Treatment for Presbyopia
Presbyopia is an age-related condition in which we gradually lose the ability to focus on close objects. Presby LASIK, also known as multifocal LASIK is a surgical technique for presbyopic visual correction using Excimer laser ablation.
New technology will be available in the near future.
Refractive eye surgery corrects common vision disorders such as myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia and astigmatism. Some refractive procedures include implantable contact lenses and treatment for presbyopia, using Lasik surgery.
